why is it important to save water
Conservation of water is very important as it is essential for our life. Although about 71% of the Earth is covered by water, about 97.5% of that water is salt water, which is not directly usable. The amount of fresh water available for use is very limited and is essential to our daily lives—drinking water, agriculture, industry, and other human activities. Excessive water use or wastage leads to depletion of water table, which may lead to water scarcity in future. Conserving water is an effective way to keep this precious resource usable for a long time. In addition, it is possible to protect the environment, preserve biodiversity, and combat climate change through the proper use of water. So, by using water consciously we can create a healthy and safe environment for future generations.
